Have you ever searched for a perfect nude lip shade?
I bet you did. It’s the same crucial problem for me as to find a perfect foundation color: not too bright, not too dark, not too yellow or not too red.
I”™ve finally found my perfect nude color in Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip line. The most ironic part is that the shade is called Perfect Nude. It’s a liquid lipstick that is creamy enough to condition your lips while is not too oily and not too dry. I’m a big fan of Bobbi Brown Art Sticks lip colors and this in liquid formula is not an exception.

Why I love these art sticks is because they are easy to apply, especially the chunky pencils. These are my go-to products that I always keep them in my purse. They can cover my lips perfectly even when they are a little dry and even cover a bruise on my lip.

All you need to do is to swipe a small amount of balm underneath the lip color if you can’t exfoliate your lips before applying a lip color. It will be enough, because as I said the art sticks are creamy enough to give your lips enough moisture and enhance your lips. Moreover, the color stays on your lips for quite a long time – I tried both vivid and nude colors, the formula works the same. Meanwhile, it is quite lightweight – which is another reason to love these lipsticks.
So going back to our discussion of nude lips. Here are some tips in finding your perfect nude lipstick:
- First of all, you need to identify the formula that you prefer: liquid lipstick or stick/cream or crayon/pencil.
- Next decide on the finish: matte, semi-matte, sheer, satin or high-shine.
- Then, it’s time for testing, as finding the perfect shade is all the matter of test and trial. The goal is to match the color of the lipstick to the inner skin of your lip. Once you get the match you know you”™ve found your perfect nude.
