The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta – Exhibition in Houston

By 1min read

Elegance is a discipline of life. Oscar de la Renta

Oscar de La Renta is a true master of embroidery, lace and ruffles.

Although he passed away several years ago, his art is immortal and some of his best masterpieces are presented at the exhibition at Museum of Fine Arts in Houston through January 28th, 2018.

In this post, I’m going to share with you some of my favorite showpieces from that exhibition.

As you enter la salle, you can tell that his work was influenced by different cultures including Russian, Spanish, Middle East, and I think he has combined best of it in the clothes that he created.

I won’t bother you much with extensive and details post full of descriptive words, as I believe, whatever you see will tell you more than the words can tell.

Whenever you look at his creations, you can see that this man knew how to make the woman look elegant and feminine and created his masterpieces with this in mind.
