Amika: Polished Perfection Straightening Brush

After so many makeovers and color treatments (because life is too short to have just one hair color!) and changing 3 countries within the last 3 years, my hair is no longer straight from roots to ends. There is a part that I love about my hair now since volume is now present in my roots ( thanks to Living Proof Full Shampoo), however, the ends are not flattering at all. And while I can justify that “I woke up like this” hairstyle look is still in trend, it doesn’t always look good, at least, not the way it makes me feel beautiful #badhairday. And I’m too lazy to blow dry with a round brush every time I wash my hair.

I always avoided flat irons, because I didn’t need them in the first place and they are can cause damage to my hair. I’ve never had hair this long as I do right now, but flat irons are still not an option. Thanks for the existence of straightening brushes.

After watching several Instagram videos, I came to a decision that I need a straightening brush. And my research led me to Polished Perfection from Amika. It was featured in Allure magazine several times and it has become one of the best selling items at Sephora for the last year. After reading the description of technologies used and how user-friendly their brush is, I decided to give it a try.

Here is my unboxing and review video, where you can see how to operate the brush and why I think it’s the best one on the market.

Video Review: Pat McGrath Labs Matte Lipsticks

I’m so excited to share with you my first sit-and-talk video review on Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLust 007 and MatteTrance lipsticks in the most trending shades!

LiquiLust 007 in Divine Nude consists of two products – Divine Nude liquid matte lipstick and Bronze Astral Vinyl lip gloss. The lipstick comes in nice pale mauve nude shade, while the gloss was more golden/bronze tiny sparkles that neutralize the grayish shade of the lipstick and adds a glamour touch to the lipstick.

MatteTrance lipstick is 013 Elson is a very trending shade of red with blue undertones.

It reminds me of Ruby Woo from MAC Cosmetics, so I decided to compare these two lipsticks right away!

To see how they compare to each other and what MatteTrance lipstick  really is about watch the video below.
