You know you truly experienced the product once you hit a pan. This is my second “Empties” post for this year and it features a lot of my favorite products that are worth repurchasing. Posts like this usually represent the most honest review of each and every product used.
As always, I’ll divide them into categories: Skincare, Nail Care and Makeup. Let’s start with Skin Care products first.
Skin Care

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser – this is a mini size of a cleanser, and boy, it is so worth it. You’re getting instantly clearer and smaller pores. It doesn’t irritate or dry out my sensitive skin, and the skin feels so much cleaner. Repurchase? YES!
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence – this is the second product I got on my points from Sephora in SK-II Pitera kit, and as you can guess from the picture – it’s a sample size. Together with the SK-II Essential Power Rich Cream moisturizer, it delivers so much hydration to my skin that not many products can compare to this combo. While getting full-size of each of these products may be a big hit for your wallet, there is also a good SK-II Pitera Welcome Set that also includes the lotion. Purchase full size? YES!
Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Treatment Lotion is so good, that I have a separate post about it here. And by the way, it has such a nice list of ingredients, that this product received a “Clean at Sephora” Seal! Repurchase? YES!
La Mer The Eye Concentrate – this is probably the third or the fourth jar that I’m repurchasing. If you are looking for a quality eye cream to erase your dark circles, this one should be on your list. I haven’t checked its ingredient list yet, and I’m using another good under-eye cream right now, but I’m more likely to repurchase this one from La Mer again. By the way, a little goes a long way so don’t let the price scare you.
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil is another sample that I’ve enjoyed using. It smells so nice and does a lot of things at the same time: visibly brightens, firms, and evens skin tone. I can’t say that I noticed the brightening effect, as I wasn’t using it consistently. Moreover, the quantity that I had wouldn’t have lasted me for 21 days to experience these changes. But because it felt so good, I’m actually planning to purchase a full size of this clean product.
La Mer Creme de la Mer Moisturizing Cream – is another luxurious cream that you need to try. It hydrates the skin so well and is a must-have especially for the winter months. I haven’t checked the ingredients in details for it as well, and hope that they are not that bad because I really want to repurchase it again. By the way, this mini size (0.5 oz) lasted me quite some time and has a lower price point. Repurchase? YES!
Youth to the People Superfood Air-Whip Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream is super lightweight and moisturizing. It is loaded with superfoods including kale, spinach, and green tea and also has hyaluronic acid in it. It didn’t irritate, clog pores or do anything bad to my skin. And this product also bears the “Clean at Sephora” Seal – anything good reason for purchase it in full size.
La Mer The Radiant Infusion Serum is probably the only product I’ve enjoyed the least here. It didn’t cause me irritation or anything, but I didn’t notice any effect from this expensive product. It stayed in my vanity longer than 24 months, and its strange smell reminded me that it’s time to toss it even though there is some product left. As I understand, the product is discontinued and replaced by The Revitalizing Hydrating Serum but I haven’t tried the new formula yet. Repurchase? No.

PRITI NYC Soy Nail Polish Remover. If you are looking for a gentle and natural alternative to the nail polish remover, you may want to switch to a soy-based one. The only thing you need to know about this type of nail polish removers is that you have to be more patient with them. It takes a little more time for a product to start dissolving the nail polish. But what I really like about it, is that it feels more as oil, doesn’t leave any residues from the polish and doesn’t dry out your nails.
I got this one from Amazon, and it is infused with organic lemongrass essential oil. Right now I switched to a similar product with lavender oil and I think that I like the new one even more because of the better packaging and a lower price point. By the way, it also sold at Amazon.
L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Hand Cream in Vanilla Bouquet is one of my favorite hand creams. So far I don’t know any other hand cream that I’d love this much, as for me, nothing can compare to L’occitane Shea Butter Line. I prefer to use this vanilla one during a colder season, and a regular one all year round. Repurchase? YES and RESTOCK!
Makeup

This time, I only could finish up 3 makeup products.
Too Faced Better Than Sex is one of my favorite mascaras. For some reason, a mini size has better reviews in the beauty community. It is being said that full-size mascara dries out before you have a chance to use it up. I didn’t try a full-size product, but this mini was so good and I’d repurchase it for myself and for my mom – she is also in love with it.
Shiseido Veiled Rouge Lipstick in PK304 Skyglow was swatched in one of my previous posts. It is a nice hydrating sheer lipstick, that feels more like a colored lip balm. Unfortunately, it looks like Shiseido has discontinued these lipsticks and they are almost sold out everywhere. Nevertheless, you can still find this shade on Amazon for a reduced price.
It is really similar to the lip balms from Nars and Tom Ford that I’ve discussed in my previous posts, so I’m probably going to skip on repurchasing just because I want to try something new.
Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in 10 Ebene has been my go-to eyeliner for a few years until I tried the Highliner from Marc Jacobs. The eyeliner from Chanel is a bit dryer and is less intense in color when compared to MJ. Nevertheless, I’m so in love with the highliner so that I’m probably not going to repurchase this one from Chanel again.
Beauty Blender Soap

I’ve almost missed this “emptie” when I was finishing this post. You won’t believe but I’ve purchased this soap 3 years ago during my first trip to NYC. I wasn’t a frequent user of a beautyblender sponge back then, but I used it to deep-clean my brushes every now and then. I also refilled it once with a green mini soap from Beauty Blender but still, I prefer the original white soap. With more frequent use, I believe, it would probably last me around a year which is still quite a long time! I’ve already repurchased this one, so the answer to my reoccurring question is definitely YES.
