Hello, my beauties!
While everyone is talking about all stars following #WhyWeWearBlack theme (and indeed wearing all black outfits) at the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards to support the #TimesUp movement, we cannot get distracted from their flawless beauty looks this year.
In today’s post, I’d like to share with you top 5 makeup tips from these looks everyone should add to their makeup routine this year.
Do not overload your face with highlighters. Pay attention to your skin and foundation instead
Interestingly, but despite tons of astral high shine highlighters that we see on Instagram, the majority of stars were not wearing highlighters at all. At some, there is only a subtle glow, but still, not as much as we are used to see. Instead, the focus is on their flawless foundation and skin. We can see Zoe Kravitz’s cute freckles as she rocked the red carpet with her beautiful bare healthy skin.
Embrace your perfect nude lips
Regardless, of how their eyes were done, most of the stars arrived to red carpet with nude lips. There is a trick how to find your perfect nude color, you can find it here in our blog.
Open up your gaze by swiping beige pencil on your lower waterline
According to Pat McGrath, influential Makeup Artist, it also works as a concealer for your eyeballs as it reduces the redness in your eyes*. It is not as harsh as white color and will it works perfectly on everyone even with a minimum color on your face! Just as seen on Saoirse Ronan.
Do not forget to wear blush
In the times of harsh contouring and bronzing blush is sometimes neglected. However, as we see on the pictures, it freshens up the look by making it more healthy and youthful. Just make sure it matches your lipstick: if you plan to wear cooler shades for lipstick, wear same pallet on your cheeks.
Make a Statement
While most of the guests kept their eye makeup to minimum, some stars such as Zuri Hall opted for adding a pop of color to her eyes. I love her blue sparkling eyeshadows!
Be bold, ladies. Make a statement and stand out.
I believe these tips will transform your makeup and take it to another level.
