Regardless of what season you are in, and what season is outside, you might want to keep this beautiful sun-kissed blush (read as “healthy glow”) that you’ve got during the summertime all year round.
For me, the healthy glow starts with a blush that adds a wash of color to your face. Today blushes come in a variety of formulas and finishes, from powders to creams, liquids, sticks, and even cushions! The shades may vary from one product to another. Honestly, there is no limitation on a shade or finish, as long as it warms up your complexion and gives you a gorgeous sun-touched healthy glow.
With this in mind, here are my top 24 blushes to get that beautiful sun-kissed blush look throughout the year.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY
Cheek to Chic Blush in Ecstasy ($40, Buy Now)

When I think of Charlotte Tilbury, I picture healthy glowing skin and effortlessly natural-looking makeup. I’ll start with her cult compact creamy duo powder blush. Each shade consists of two colors “filled with finely crushed pearls” for a glowing complexion. I like the shade Ecstasy as it has that light bronzish shade in the outer rim for your cheekbones and a coral shade in the center to add a pop of color to the apples of your cheeks. You can apply them separately or mix together.
NARS
Blush in Orgasm ($16-$32, Buy Now)

Cult-favorite, iconic blush from Nars comes in an oversized pan. This shade was designed to flatter any complexion and its warm golden shimmer with flush pink undertone will work perfectly for any season. Use it with your favorite bronzer if you want to add even more warmth to your skin. Keep it mind that those golden inclusions might be visible on the skin, so if you have texture on your skin, I’d recommend skipping on this one.
HOURGLASS
Ambient® Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra ($43, Buy Now)

Hourglass takes the blush game to the next level by using a Photoluminescent Technology that gives depth and dimension to your cheeks. The powder is extremely lightweight and creamy and contains optically transparent particles that contribute to the multidimensional effect. It also features soft-focus technology that minimizes the look of fine lines and imperfections by filtering out the harsh light. The Ambient Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra has peach undertones and is an absolute must-have for a glowing sun-kissed blush look. Also available in mini size.
CHANTECAILLE
Philanthropy Cheek Shade in Emotions ($42, Buy Now)

These refillable, all skin tones flattering blushes are embossed with a purpose: each animal embossment represents a conservation it supports. By choosing a shade, you will support a particular cause as the company is donating to charity 5% of the net proceeds of every blush sold. I picked shade Emotions, as I find to to have the right amount of corals and warmth and I love the gold embellishment in the center.
The blushes blend nicely, but after you “break the seal” and start using the blush, the shimmer on the embellishment fades. However thanks to finely milled pigments you still get a glowing veil on your cheeks, without any caky or glittery finish. By the way, this blush is refillable, which is another good thing about this pressed blush in a pebble shaped compact.
GUERLAIN
Terracotta Light Healthy Glow Bronzer in Light Warm ($53, Buy Now)

The Sun Kissed Blush blog was inspired by Guerlain Terracotta powder back in days when my cousin and I had an idea to create a beauty blog one day. Terracotta Light bronzers remains one of my favorite products until today. Each pallet contains both bronzing and blush shades to help you achieve the sun-kissed effect effortlessly. It comes in 6 shades to enhance any complexion from fair to deep. My personal choice is shade 01 Light Warm.
Recently, Guerlain has reformulated their Terracotta powders, and now then can boast with 96% naturally derived ingredients. Another favorite part about these powders, is that they is infused with a Guerlain fragrance. If you are sensitive to fragrances you may want to skip on this.
BAREMINERALS
Gen Nude Pressed Powder Blush in Kiss of Pink ($25.00, Buy Now)

Speaking of luminous sun-touched blush, we can’t miss this viral BareMinerals’ Gen Nude Blonzer collection which features 3 sun-kissed shades for blushes combined with bronzers, with all the right undertones, including pink and peach. For lighter complexions like mine, I’d suggest using the Kiss of Pink shade which is warm pink blush with radiant finish. While this shade is said to work across all complexions, I believe people with deeper skin tone would prefer Kiss of Rose instead. The formula is free of talc and features clean ingredients. The blush instantly warms up the complexion adding nice sheer color to your cheeks. The coverage is buildable from sheer to medium coverage, and same as with other products from Gen Nude collection, it is easy to use and hard to overdo.
KAJA
Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush in Bossy ($27, Buy Now)

This cushion blush remains an absolute innovation for me. Together with Memebox, Sephora has created their first K-beauty line – the Kaja brand. Cheeky Stamp Blendable Blush is something you have definitely never tried before. At least, I haven’t.
As expected from the name, it’s a press stamp blush with a heart-shaped sponge applicator. You press cushion on each cheek once for a natural glow or twice for a pop of color. My personal choice is 03 Bossy as it has tropical coral shade and in my opinion, works best across different complexions.
BENEFIT COSMETICS
Galifornia Sunny Golden Pink Blush ($30, Buy Now)

This iconic golden pink blush complements all skin tones and brings your sunkissed glow forward. The embellished gold overspray lifts away with each use, while the formula is infused with a subtle shimmer throughout, adding a nice veil to your healthy flush. This blush also features the signature Galifornia Dreamin’ scent with notes of pink grapefruit and vanilla. The compact comes with a mirror and a specially designed rounded blush brush. I love to swirl the brush on the edges of the pan to pick more pinks, and then and then swipe on the golden embellishment and use it as a highlighter. Benefit California Golden Pink blush is also available in size mini.
GLOSSIER
Cloud Paint in Beam ($20, Buy Now)

Beam shade might seem a very bright shade when you squeeze it out of the tube for the first time, but don’t let that first impression fool you: once you blend it out, you’ll be surprise to see how it adds a natural soft flush to your skin. Gel-cream formula literally melts in your skin under your fingertips and little goes a long way. This liquid blush yields a soft-focus finish that is perfect for people with textured skin.
RARE BEAUTY
Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Joy ($20, Buy Now)

Rare Beauty launched Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes for those who blush unapologetically. If you are not afraid to blush, this is the match made in heaven.
The high-pigment formula lasts all day, and at the same time, is weightless, builds seamlessly, and looks naturally like a second skin. I have several colors in my collection, but the most sun-kissed shade, for me, is Joy – a muted peach shade with a dewy finish and silky texture.
For newbie-blushers, I’d recommend using just a dot on each cheek and blending it well with a brush and building from there – after all, maybe you won’t be a newbie anymore.
Stay Vulnerable Melting Cream Blush in Nearly Apricot ($21, Buy Now)

If you are more on the soft-blush side, consider this award-wining cream blush from Rare Beauty. The breakthrough water-resistant formula combines pigments with a non-greasy blend of weightless oils and spherical powders for a natural soft-focus wash of color. LAWLESS
Make Me Blush Talc-Free Velvet Blush in Phoenix ($29, Buy Now)

Lawless beauty is one of my favorite clean makeup brands and I was super excited when they launched their blushers collection. The blushes are silky soft, talc-free, and packed with skin-loving ingredients. These blushes blend nicely into the skin. If you love prefer more warmth in your blush to achieve the so-called “sun-burnt look” I’d go with Phoenix shade – a warm burnished apricot with radiant finish. If you love more corals in your sun-kissed blush as I do lately, I’d recommend trying Soft Nectar – fresh pinky coral shade with matte finish that will add a healthy flush to your complexion.
WANDER BEAUTY
On-the-Glow Blush & Illuminator in Coral Rose/Nude ($38, Buy Now)

One of my recent favorites is this On-the-Go blush and highlighter duo from Wander Beauty. It has recently been reformulated (as most of the Wander Beauty products) and now is more “cleaner” than ever. I like the natural nude highlighter and the soft coral shade that I can apply all over my face for a perfect, monochromatic look. In addition to reformulation, Wander Beauty also updated the packaging design.
TOWER28
BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush in Rush Hour ($20, Buy Now)

Tower 28 Beach Please cream blushes are perhaps, the most sunkissedblush-able collection ever released. These “Clean at Sephora” cream blushes have buildable coverage and blend well in the skin. The formula can be applied with fingers or a brush for more coverage. While all of the shades are gorgeous, – I have at least four “sun-kissed” shades in my collection, I find myself reaching out more to the Happy Hour shade – a sun-kissed coral pink and Rush Hour, a sun-kissed peach shade. Sometimes, I even layer them, using Rush Hour as a base all over my cheeks and bridge of my nose, and Happy Hour as a pop of color on the apples of my cheeks for a natural flush. The best part is you can also apply them to your lips! Needless to say, they stay on all day long!
KEVYN AUCOIN
The Neo Blush in Pink Sand ($38, Buy Now)

If you are looking for the most naturally looking powder blush, definitely consider Kevyn Aucoin Neo blushes. Illuminating Bronzing Powder in Santa Barbara ($46, Buy Now)

Bobbi Brown illuminating Bronzing Powder in Santa Barbara adds a nice natural radiant glow for your blushes with coral base and golden sparkles. The blend of sheer powder and microfine pearls throughout the pressed powder are so tiny that they create a soft lit-from-within luminosity for your glowing sun-kissed look.
The brand has recently relaunched Illuminating Bronzing Powders, improving the formula and changing the look of the pressed powder in the compact.
KJAER WEIS
Cream Blush in Sun Touched ($56, Buy Now)

I love the balanced sun-kissed blush shade of Kjaer Weis refillable cream blush. The formula is long wear and yields buildable coverage with a matte finish. I prefer picking the product with my clean fingers and warming them up at the back of my hands for easy application. This clean formula works all over the face for a monochromatic warm look.

Pair them together or wear separate – blusher’s choice!
SISLEY
L’Orchidée Highlighter Blush in Coral 3 ($120, Buy Now)

Sisley L’Orchidée Highlighter Blush is the most expensive blusher that I have in my collection, and look how gorgeous she is! This “highlighter blush” features three easily blend-able shades that enhance and sculpt at the same time.
The soft, pearly, light-diffusing sparkles bring luxurious radiance to your skin while its micronized pigments and pearls provide an immediate glow.
The formula is also enriched with skin-loving white lily to preserve the comfort and softness of the skin. I love to swirl a brush to pick up and mix all the shades and then apply them to my cheeks in a circular motion.
Although the gold embellishment fades after the first use, it doesn’t affect how the shade looks on your skin.
SIGMA BEAUTY
Cor De Rosa Blush Palette ($49, Buy Now)

Last year Sigma Beauty relaunched a makeup collection inspired by their iconic Cor-De-Rosa blush shade. Their recent launch includes Cor-de-Rosa blush palette. Cor-de-Rosa, means “color of the roses” and the palette includes 6 matte and metallic blushes that will help you achieve the most flattering flush on your face. The palette includes my favorite Cor-De-Rosa shade that can be described as earthy, flushed neutral matte – a well balanced sunburnt blush shade with the right amount of warmth and redness. Cor-De-Rosa blush is also sold separately in a new packaging. By the way, the formula of the blush was also reformulated according to Sigma Beauty Clean standards.

My favorite sun-kissed blush shade is Beverly Hills – a soft peach shade that has enough warmth and and color in it. This velvety blush is featherlight, blends like a dream and hugs your cheeks in a beautiful flush of color without disturbing any layers of makeup or skincare underneath. I like shade Nude Venus – a peachy pink shade with golden pearl, a very balanced sunkissed blush shade. It adds a healthy glow on my skin without compromising my glowy complexion underneath.
